As a typical spinel ferrite, NiFe2O4 is suitable for use in gas sensors. Herein, we report the fabrication of porous, tremella-like assembled using ultrathin nanosheets via coordination Ni2+ and Fe2+ with 1,4-phenylenediboronic acid. The optical band gap estimated to be about 1.7 eV. Furthermore, sensor annealed at 400 °C exhibits low detection limit 50 ppb, fast response/recovery time (11.6 s/41.9 s 10 ppm toluene), good reproducibility, long-term stability 220 °C. sensing performances can attributed catalytic activity toluene oxidation. Moreover, porous structures provide large number active sites significantly favor diffusion adsorption/desorption molecules. This current work provides an insight into fabricating acid, which promising ppb-level detection.

Existing studies have shown that the attentional function of epilepsy is prone to be impaired. However, characterization brain connectivity behind this impairment remains uncertain. This study investigates attention-related in 92 patients with temporal lobe and 78 healthy controls using a 32-channel EEG monitor during an attention network test. Compared controls, showed reduced temporal–occipital alerting orienting networks, but increased frontal–occipital executive network. Additionally, individuals exhibited similar topologies networks altered topology properties, larger clustering coefficient theta band longer characteristic path length delta bands. These findings reveal distinct characteristics epilepsy, offering valuable insights into underlying mechanisms providing clinical guidance for long-term monitoring intervention.

Objective. The aim is to explore the effect and mechanism of indoor toluene exposure on orienting network. Methods. Twenty-two healthy adults were exposed 0 ppb, 17.5 35 70 ppb for 4 hours, respectively. All subjects underwent attention network behavioral test, their electroencephalographic activity was recorded simultaneously. causal connection strengths calculated through direct transform function (DTF) methods. DTF values networks among four groups compared. Results. (1) parietal outflow (DTF_outflow) in condition higher than those conditions, (2) DTFCZ-FZ DTFCZ-FP2 found be lower as compared condition. Furthermore, DTFP3-FP2, DTFP4-FP1, DTFP4-FZ DTFP3-FP2 DTFP4-FP1 conditions. Conclusion. Even short-term at low concentrations significantly impacts
