Abstract The Japanese language major, a subset of foreign disciplines at higher education institutions, is the focus this study, which advocates novel instructional pathway based on new liberal arts perspective. This paper introduces BRD teaching model for majors in colleges and universities, detailing six-faceted approach: task assignment, preparation stage, lecture delivery, report writing, submission, teacher grading. An evaluation system was established to measure students’ engagement assess effectiveness education. According our findings, all students perceived method as beneficial mastering politeness strategies, although only 4.75% found it marginally less effective acquiring agreement pleasantries strategies. Comparative experimental analysis revealed that class C, under identical academic conditions, not mastered polite strategies effectively their peers but also achieved significantly average final grades compared those traditional B. statistical significance these outcomes, with p-value than 0.05, underscores efficacy proposed enhancing proficiency Japanese.

This research endeavor seeks address prevailing knowledge gap field by exploring influence on skills EFL learners. The study's objectives encompass assessment impact these coherence, vocabulary usage, grammatical accuracy, task accomplishment, learner motivation. Utilizing mixed-methods approach, study examined 65 intermediate students from Islamic Azad University, Varamin-Pishva branch, who were divided into two groups: one employed tools, while other followed traditional classroom-based exercises. Quantitative data gathered via IELTS-based assessments scales, qualitative insights derived semi-structured interviews. findings revealed substantial enhancements AI group across all measured dimensions comparison control group. Additionally, demonstrated significant surge levels. Learners reported positive attitudes toward AI-based instruction, citing improvements engagement, autonomy, confidence their writing. platform also fostered greater self-regulation personalized learning experiences, which participants found effective enjoyable. emphasize efficacy enhancing linguistic motivational levels provides practical incorporating technologies encouraging educators leverage such tools more engaging practices.

This study investigated how undergraduate students collaborated when working with ChatGPT and what teamwork approaches they used, focusing on students’ preferences, conflict resolution, reliance AI-generated content, perceived learning outcomes. In a course the Applications of Information Systems, 153 were organized into teams 3. Team members worked together to create report presentation specific data mining technique, exploiting ChatGPT, internet resources, class materials. The findings revealed no strong preference for single collaborative mode, though Modes #2, #4, #5 marginally favored due clearer structures, role clarity, or increased individual autonomy. Students reasonably encountered initial disagreements (averaging 30.44%), which eventually resolved—indicating constructive debates that improve critical thinking. Data also showed moderately modified ChatGPT’s responses (50% average) based nearly half (44%) their overall output suggesting balanced yet varied level AI. Notably, statistically significant relationship emerged between actual performance, implying self-assessment can complement objective academic measures. employed diverse mix communication tools, from synchronous (phone calls) asynchronous (Instagram) platforms (Google Drive), valuing ease use but facing scheduling, technical, engagement issues. Overall, these results reveal need flexible patterns, more supportive AI policies, versatile methods so educators apply effectively maintain integrity.
