Photo-electrocatalysis is a growing field, and cobalt-based metal-organic frameworks (Co-MOFs) are attracting much interest because of their porous nature, high surface area, malleable structure. This study investigated the photo-electrocatalytic properties g-C3N4 boron-doped-g-C3N4 when hybridized with MOF (ZIF-67). In this work, we describe preparation novel g-C3N4/ZIF-67 B-g-C3N4/ZIF-67 composites by poly-condensation co-condensation methods, respectively. ZIF-67 hybridization caused decrease in band gap energy due to changes crystalline structure size. EIS results indicated that only showed response light irradiation. At same time, both demonstrated sufficient potential applied was increased -1.2 V vs. NHE LSV analyses. CO2 reduction ethanol performed for 3 hours at -1 under continuous irradiation bubbling each catalyst.
