The encapsulation of sodium sulfobutylether-β-cyclodextrin (SBE-β-CD) is influenced not only by the degree substitution (DS) but also presence strong-bonded water (SBW). Guests compete with SBW for positions within cavity SBE-β-CD. However, correlation between DS and was clear. This study revealed a positive utilizing Karl Fischer titration. mechanism may be attributed to molecular polarizability. To explore impact inside SBE-β-CD different on encapsulation, density functional theory employed. Throughout release process, an increase in enthalpy unfavorable, while entropy favors spontaneous reaction occurrence. For (DS = 2, 3), primary factor, leading retention cavities consequently hindering guest entry. In contrast, 4, 7), situation differs. SBE10-β-CD, influence minimal. aims elucidate relationship SBW, as well effect encapsulation. It crucial comprehensive understanding factors affecting SBE-β-CD, thereby promoting quality control development

Cilostazol is a phosphodiesterase III inhibitor characterized by poor solubility. This limitation can be overcome using drug carrier capable of delivering the to target site. Cyclodextrins are essential as carriers because their outstanding complexation abilities and capacity improve bioavailability. study comprises two stages: The first involves verifying different cyclodextrins towards cilostazol. was accomplished molecular docking simulations (MDS) density functional theory (DFT). Both techniques indicate that largest Sulfobutyl Ether-β-Cyclodextrin forms most stable complex with Additionally, other important parameters described, including binding sites, dominant interactions, thermodynamic such enthalpy, Gibbs free energy, energy solvation. second stage between cilostazol Phosphodiesterse3 (PDE3). conducted simulations, energetic detailed. report, we believe results our predictions will pave way for future development efforts cyclodextrin–cilostazol complexes potential therapeutics.

Isoamyl 4-methoxycinnamate (IMC) is widely used in various fields because of its exceptional UV-filter properties. However, due to cytotoxicity and anti-microbial degradability, the potential eco-environmental toxicity IMC has become a focus attention. In this study, we propose host-guest supramolecule approach enhance functionality IMC, resulting more environmentally friendly high-performance materials. Sulfobutyl-β-cyclodextrin sodium salt (SBE-β-CD) was as host molecule. IMC-SBE-β-CD supramolecular substances were prepared through "saturated solution method", their properties biosecurity evaluated. Meanwhile, conducted AOS tree evaluation system that surpasses existing approaches based on apoptosis, oxidative stress system, signaling pathways investigate toxicological mechanisms within human hepatoma SMMC-7721 cells model organisms. The aims offer comprehensive analysis cytotoxic effects IMC-SBE-β-CD. Our findings showed had an encapsulation rate 84.45% optimal stability at 30 °C. Further, promoted cell growth reproduction without compromising integrity mitochondria nucleus or disrupting apoptosis-related pathways. Compared biologically safe improved water solubility with UV absorption property maintained. study provides foundation for hydrophobic, low-toxicity organic compounds using cyclodextrins offers valuable insights future research field.
