Amomum villosum Lour. (A. villosum) is widely utilized in culinary and medicinal contexts due to its rich diversity of bioactive compounds. In this study, an ultrasonic-assisted extraction (UAE) method using a natural deep eutectic solvent (NaDES) was employed extract flavonoids from A. villosum. The NaDES composed betaine glycerol (Bet-Gly) exhibited effective performance as solvent, evidenced by high efficiency. Optimal conditions (water content: 30 %, solid-liquid ratio: 1:20 g/mL, temperature: 70 °C, ultrasonic power: 85 % P, time: mins) were established via single-factor experiments. maximum total flavonoid content (TFC) 82.22 ± 0.39 mg rutin equivalent per gram dry weight (mg Rut/g DW) achieved under optimized conditions. Comparative studies revealed that the UAE-NaDES afforded higher TFC DPPH radical scavenging activity values, broader diversity, demonstrated better capacity stabilize them compared conventional solutions. Furthermore, favorable biocompatibility properties, resulting displayed remarkable anti-inflammatory anti-cancer effects. These findings demonstrate efficient for villosum, with potential applications food pharmaceutical industries, thereby minimizing removal steps.

Artemisia ordosica Krasch. represents a medicinal species traditionally and extensively employed in traditional medicine for treating ailments such as rheumatic arthritis, sore throat, inflammation. This study initially focuses on the extraction, purification, characterization of polysaccharides (AOP). The purified AOP exhibits molecular mass corresponding to 9.00 kDa consists multiple monosaccharide units, with glucose (54.08%) predominant component, followed by arabinose (13.75%), mannose (13.43%), galactose (12.79%), xylose (3.15%), glucuronic acid (0.93%), galacturonic (0.67%), ribose (0.63%), fucose (0.56%), respectively. Furthermore, explore immune-regulatory mechanisms AOP, peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBLs) were cultured exposed inhibitors targeting receptors signaling molecules. results indicated that TLR4 serves potential target through which exerts its immunomodulatory functions. mitigates immune stress PBLs triggered LPS disrupting interaction between TLR downregulating over-activation nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) pathway. In summary, shows promise feed additive protect animals from stress.
