Electron structure features of nanopowders with composition (Na/K)VMoO6 have been investigated both experimentally and theoretically. The dispositions valence edge conduction band were determined for vacuum condition by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, UV-visible impedance spectroscopy evaluated theoretically water solutions. additional absorbance in the gap has found compounds, which leads to electron conductivity at low-temperature range (250-350oC). Nanopowders prepared sol-gel method further ground planetary mill. Prepared powders solution formed nanosuspension size's particle up 100 nm NaVMoO6 400 KVMoO6, is hardly sedimentated. highly effective photocatalytic ability under visible light irradiation compounds was observed using methylene blue decomposition process. investigation possible dye degradation pathway showed high depth decomposition.

Agricultural runoff, fuel spillages, urbanization, hospitalization, and industrialization are some of the serious problems currently facing world. In particular, byproducts that hazardous to ecosystem have potential mix with water used for drinking. Over last three decades, various techniques, including biodegradation, advanced oxidation processes (AOPs), (e.g., photocatalysis, photo-Fenton oxidation, Fenton-like electrochemical process adsorption), filtration, adsorption been developed remove byproducts. Among those, AOPs, photocatalysis has received special attention from scientific community because its unusual properties at nanoscale layered structure. Recently, bismuth based semiconductor (BBSc) photocatalysts played an important role in solving global energy demand environmental pollution problems. bismuth-based Z-scheme heterojunction (BBZSH) is considered best alternative route overhaul limitations single-component BBSc photocatalysts. This work aims review recent studies on a new type BBZSH treatment contaminated water. The general overview synthesis methods, efficiency-enhancing strategies, classifications heterojunctions, degradation mechanisms Z- S-schemes, application organic dyes, antibiotics, aromatics compounds, endocrine-disrupting volatile compounds reviewed. Finally, challenges future perspective discussed.
