Salah satu wilayah pertanian aktif di Kabupaten Bangkalan adalah Desa Pandanan. Tingginya potensi degradasi lahan Pandanan menjadikan upaya mitigasi harus segera dilakukan. yang dapat dilakukan melalui pengabdian kepada masyarakat (abmas) oleh tim dari Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember dan Badan Riset Inovasi Nasional terkait optimasi kesuburan pertanian. Kegiatan abmas berfokus pada tiga tahap utama yakni: (1) Sosialisasi/penyuluhan pentingnya berbasis data (satelit validasi lapangan), (2) penyuluhan/sosialisasi penggunaan pupuk organik berbahan dasar limbah peternakan lokal Pandanan, (3) pelatihan serta pendampingan pembuatan organik. Hasil sosialisasi menunjukkan bahwa kelompok tani Harapan Jaya 1, mampu mengolah setempat menjadi organik, dengan adanya kegiatan ini diharapkan meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, kemandirian petani terhadap input pertanian, sehingga mengoptimalkan tanah seiring waktu mengurangi kimia memiliki mencemari lingkungan khususnya Kedepan secara bertahap diharapakan produktivitas ekonomi berdampak kesejahteraan para Bangkalan.

In the southwest karst areas of China, changes in overlying vegetation due to ecological restoration cause considerable carbon sequestration (CS). Assessing CS potential this is crucial for promoting optimization and regulation regional restoration(VR) policies. This study based on net primary productivity, maximum coverage average coverage. Using VR effectiveness index (Ej) quantitatively evaluate spatiotemporal characteristics effectiveness, quantifying pattern using photosynthetic model, clarifying main driving mechanisms CS.This results showed that more than 54.25 % studied area ecologically fragile has achieved significant (Ej ≥ 20) from 2000 2020. The spatial distribution intensity was higher northeast. Data series from 2012 to 2022 has documented the genetic and reproductive aspects of 14 sandalwood landraces in Gunung Sewu Geopark, Java Island.
