Identifying the relationship between extreme precipitation (EP) and large-scale climate circulation is of great significance for weather management warning. Previous studies have effectively revealed influence single on EP, although characteristics multiple are still unclear. In this study, seasonal spatiotemporal changes in decadal anomalies daily EP were analyzed based quantile perturbation method (QPM) within Three Gorges Reservoir Area (TGRA) period from 1960 to 2020. Sea surface temperature (SST)- sea level pressure (SLP)-related factors selected examine their interaction influences contributions EP. The results showed that: (1) Summer exhibited greater temporal variability than those other seasons, with cycle duration dry/wet alternation shortening 15 years 5 years. Winter pronounced spatial homogeneity patterns, especially 1970s. (2) According analysis a driver, Southern Oscillation Index (SOI), North Atlantic (NAO), Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD) had prolonged correlations anomalies. (3) More can be obtained circulations (binary ternary drivers) driver. Although difference existed combinations factors, more 60%. This study provides an insight into mechanisms modulation pathways influencing various
