Curcumin is one of the natural anticancer drugs but its efficiency limited by low stability, insufficient bioavailability, poor solubility, and permeability. Dorema aucheri (Bilhar) a herb with precious pharmaceutical properties. This study aimed to develop nanoliposome-based curcumin Bilhar extract codelivery system. The nanocompounds were synthesized using lipid thin-film hydration method characterized transmission electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering techniques, their cytotoxicity apoptotic effect on primary oral cancer cell line evaluated via 2,5-diphenyl-2H-tetrazolium bromide assay flow cytometry. Moreover, expression epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene in treated cells was assessed real-time polymerase chain reaction technique. Based results, nanoliposomes had size 91 ± 10 nm polydispersity index 0.13. Free curcumin, extract, curcumin-extract combination showed dose-dependent toxicity against cells; yet, (IC50: 86 µg/ml) 65 activities much more than 121 µg/ml). Also, loaded liposomes dose time-dependent cytotoxicity. After loading compound nanoliposomes, IC50 decreased from 180 µg/ml (within 24 hr) 43 72 hr), indicating sustainable release activity. Likewise, this induced highest apoptosis percentage (95%) cancerous inhibited EGFR 81% 3%. These findings demonstrated effectiveness cells. it an additive activity that considerably improved after nanoliposomes.

This work aimed to investigate how two different types of forage (saline and alkaline) impact the meat quality muscle metabolism Tibetan sheep. An integrative multi-omics analysis metabolites was performed using untargeted targeted metabolomics approaches. The research results indicated that GG grass alkaline forage) possessed superior characteristics in terms apparent secondary metabolite content compared with HG (Non saline alkali forage), regardless or non-targeted ones. Simultaneously, under stress conditions, carbohydrates-rich salt-alkali play a significant role slowing down decline pH, increasing unsaturated fatty acid reducing thawing loss study provides an understanding on sheep meat, while providing scientific basis for future development livestock industry.

Background: Petasites japonicus (PJ), also known as Butterbur, has a rich history traditional healing remedy across numerous countries. Objectives: This study was designed to evaluate the potential anti-cancer properties of methanol extract derived from PJ (PJE). Materials and Methods: Cell viability measured with 3-[4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide. cycle analysis, caspase activity assays, western blotting, reactive oxygen species (ROS) assays were used investigate anticancer effects PJE on cancer cells. Results: It shown that inhibited cell colon carcinoma line Caco-2 (half-maximal inhibitory concentration [IC 50 ]: 268.4 µg/mL), hepatocellular Hep3B (IC : 420.2 bladder 5637 99.43 µg/mL). Analysis DNA content indicated an increase in sub-G1 population cells result treatment. Furthermore, caused reduction mitochondrial membrane ratio Bcl-2 Bax. Moreover, enhanced levels various components involved proapoptotic cascade, such caspase-3, caspase-9, poly-adenosine diphosphate-ribose polymerase. it observed modulated mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) activation induced elevation intracellular production ROS. Conclusion: These combined results strongly suggest possesses significant herbal medicine, acting through ROS-dependent MAPK signaling pathways

Abstract Virus-human protein-protein interactions (VHPPI) are key to understanding how viruses manipulate host cellular functions. This study constructed a retroviral-human PPI network by integrating multiple public databases, resulting in 1,387 between 29 retroviral and 1,026 human genes. Using minimal sequence similarity, we generated pseudo-negative dataset for model reliability. Five machine learning models—Logistic Regression (LR), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Naive Bayes (NB), Decision Tree (DT), Random Forest (RF)—were evaluated using accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV. LR KNN models demonstrated the strongest predictive performance, with sensitivities up 77% specificities of 52%. Feature importance analysis identified GC content semantic similarity as influential predictors. Models trained on selected features showed enhanced accuracy reduced complexity. Our approach highlights potential computational VHPPI predictions, offering valuable insights into viral-host interaction networks guiding therapeutic target identification. Significance addresses crucial gap antiviral research focusing prediction virus-host retroviruses, which linked serious diseases, including certain cancers autoimmune disorders. By leveraging models, essential host-pathogen that underlie survival pathogenesis. These were optimized predict accurately, complex mechanisms retroviruses use processes. viral proteins, such ENV_HV1H2 CD4, play pivotal roles infection persistence. Targeting these specific can potentially disrupt lifecycle while minimizing toxicity cells. thus opens avenues development selective strategies, contributing more effective targeted interventions fewer side effects, marking significant step forward virology drug discovery.
