Inclusion of dyes is efficient for regulating the performance nonlinear optical (NLO) crystals. The commonly seen anisotropic dyeing solution-grown crystals, promoted by specific dye–facet interactions, limits their applicability. Here, two classic dyes, methylene blue (MLB) and aniline (ALB), are each isotropic occluded within single crystals widely used NLO material, potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KDP). MLB ALB, which only partially stain KDP incorporated isotropically into gel-grown with unspoiled single-crystalline lattices. During gel crystallization, dye molecules bind to gel-networks, both become leading dyeing. Furthermore, enrichment from gels achieved in case ALB because strongly accumulate onto gel-networks. Hence, this work provides a generally applicable strategy facilitate further optimization crystal properties.

Cisplatin (CDDP) is one of the most successful chemotherapeutic agents for cancer therapy. However, CDDP can activate pro-survival autophagy, which inhibits therapeutic efficacy CDDP. Herein, autophagy inhibitor verteporfin (VTPF) integrated into CDDP-conjugated micelles to address this issue. The are prepared by host-guest interaction zwitterionic poly(2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl phosphorylcholine)-co-poly(2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl adamantane-1-carboxylate) (P(MPC-co-MAd)) and conjugated β-cyclodextrin (CD-CDDP). VTPF then physically encapsulated supramolecular hydrophobic interaction. Due corona micelles, stable in different media. could be released a reductive environment. CDDP-activated inhibited VTPF, fully characterized western blot, fluorescence imaging, transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Moreover, outstanding co-loaded validated both vitro vivo. This research not only provides new strategy fabricate delivery systems self-assembly, but also presents an innovative way enhance cisplatin-based chemotherapy via inhibition.

Charge transport of organic semiconductors remains as one the performance bottlenecks for optoelectronics, especially solar cells (OSCs). Herein, we demonstrate that Lewis base anion doping allows effectively modulating charge capabilities a variety electron acceptors and corresponding optoelectronic devices. It has enabled power conversion efficiencies 18.16% OSCs bearing chemical dopants in active layers. We have proven controllable n-doping non-fullerene is accomplished via solid-state anion-induced transfer, which originally dormant solution semiconductor. Hence, presents advantages solution-processing dopant/organic semiconductor mixtures. Overall, this work provides an effective, yet feasible approach solution-processed high-performance optoelectronics.

Polyphenolic compounds are a diverse collection of secondary metabolites.
