Fungi
have
been
identified
as
a
prolific
source
of
structurally
unique
secondary
metabolites,
many
which
display
promising
biological
and
pharmacological
properties.
This
review
provides
an
overview
the
structures
new
natural
products
derived
from
fungi
their
activities
along
with
research
strategies,
focuses
on
literature
published
in
representative
journals
2023.
In
this
review,

terpenoids,

alkaloids,
48

are
presented.
By
summarising
latest
findings,
aims
to
provide
guide
inspire
further
innovation
fields
discovery

Comprehensive
Summary
Terpenoids
are
a
large
and
diverse
family
of
secondary
metabolites
that
have
gained
more
attention
from
chemists
pharmacologists
for
their
intriguing
skeletons
broad
biological
activities,
including
anti‐inflammatory,
antitumoral,
antimicrobial,
anti‐viral
effects.
Based
on
the
previous
reviews,
this
review
comprehensively
summarized
recent
advances
bioactive
terpenoids,
focusing
structural
features
promising
covering
literature
2020
to
2023.
In
review,
532
terpenoids
with
remarkable
chemical
architectures
properties
classified
into
sesquiterpenoids
(142),
diterpenoids
(129),
sesterterpenoids
(24),
triterpenoids
(52),
meroterpenoids
(185),
were
isolated
terrestrial
marine
resources.
This
would
provide
reference
researchers
rapidly
discover
interesting
further
study
as
drug
leads.
