For hybrid electric vehicles, supercapacitors are an attractive technology which, when used in conjunction with the batteries as a system, could solve shortcomings of battery. Supercapacitors would allow vehicles to achieve high efficiency and better power control. possess very good density. Besides this, their charge-discharge cycling stability comparatively reasonable cost make them incredible energy-storing device. The manufacturing strategy major parts like electrodes, current collector, binder, separator, electrolyte define performance supercapacitor. Among these, electrode materials play important role it comes supercapacitors. They resolve charge storage device thus decide capacitance. Porous carbon, conductive polymers, metal hydroxide, oxides, which some usual for electrodes supercapacitors, have limits energy density stability. Abstract Given the rise in popularity of wearable electronics that are able to deform into desirable configurations while maintaining electrochemical functionality, stretchable and flexible (hybrid) supercapacitors (SCs) have become increasingly interest as innovative energy storage devices. Their outstanding power density, long lifetime with low capacitance loss, appropriate particular hybrid cases make them ideal candidates for electronics. The aim this review paper is provide an in‐depth discussion these SCs ranging from fabrication electro‐mechanical properties.
