The influence of guest stacking interactions in host-guest (H-G) MOF composites on third-order nonlinear optical (NLO) performance remains largely unknown. Herein, we propose for the first time a noncovalent aggregate confinement strategy synthesizing H-G with different modes. And [perylene2]n (α-Pe) and [perylene]n (β-Pe) were selected as guests confined into novel Ca-based {[Ca(TBAPy)(DMA)2]·3DMA·[N(CH3)2]·H2O}n (Ca-MOF-pts). NLO results showed that compared to β-Pe@Ca-MOF-pts, saturable absorption (SA) self-defocusing properties α-Pe@Ca-MOF-pts increased by 2.71-fold 3.82-fold, respectively. Interestingly, α/β-Pe@Ca-MOF-pts can be transformed α/β-Pe@Ca-MOF-flu (Ca-MOF-flu = {[Ca1.5(TBAPy)(H2O)2]·DMA·[N(CH3)2]·2H2O}n) through self-adaptive topological evolution, corresponding signal change from SA reverse (RSA). As expected, β-Pe@Ca-MOF-flu, RSA α-Pe@Ca-MOF-flu are improved 2.94-fold 4.07-fold, respectively, demonstrating importance Theoretical calculation transient spectra indicated enhancement was attributed large π-π overlap α-Pe, which promoted electron delocalization/transfer optimized cross-sectional ground state excited state. This study provides new developing excellent properties.

Abstract Nuclear accidents and the improper disposal of nuclear wastes have led to serious environmental radioactive pollutions. The rational design adsorbents for highly efficient separation strontium(II) is essential in treating waste recovering strontium resources. Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) are potential materials aqueous metal ions owing their designable structure tunable functionality. Herein, a novel 3D MOF material MOF‐18Cr6, which 1D channels formed using 18‐crown‐6‐ether‐containing ligands as channel walls, fabricated separation. In contrast traditional MOFs designed by grafting functional groups framework pores, MOF‐18Cr6 possesses regular 18‐crown‐6‐ether cavities on not only can transport intake via channels, but also prevent blockage after binding strontium(II). Consequently, sites fully utilized achieve high removal rate 99.73 % simulated wastewater. This study fabricates promising adsorbent strontium(II), more importantly, provide new strategy high‐performance separating target substances from complex environments.

Due to its built-up chemoresistance after prolonged usage, the demand for replacing platinum in metal-based drugs (MBD) is rising. The first MBD approved by FDA cancer therapy was cisplatin 1978. Even nearly four and a half decades of trials, there has been no significant improvement osteosarcoma (OS) therapy. In fact, many have developed, but problem raised remains unresolved. This motivates us elucidate possibilities copper zinc (CuZn) combination replace MBD. Thus, anti-chemoresistance properties CuZn their physiological functions OS are highlighted. Herein, we summarise chelators, main organic solvents, ligand structures that involved properties. Through this review, it rational discuss ligands' roles as biosensors drug delivery systems. Hereafter, an in-depth understanding redox photoactive function relationships provided. disadvantage other cannot be elaborated on here. As result, review being which expected intensify with higher cure rates. Nonetheless, advancement intends solve major obstacle towards clinical efficacy.
