Two series of rare earth coordination compounds have been synthesized (Na[RE(L4)] (labeled as 1RE) and PPh4[RE(L4)] 2RE), where RE = Y3+, Eu3+, Tb3+, L 2,2,2-trichloro-N-(diphenylphosphoryl)acetamide) to determine the possibility modifying their photophysical magnetical properties by changing counterion. The crystal structure 1RE was determined based on single-crystal X-ray diffraction 2RE quantum chemistry computational procedures. Characterization physicochemical carried out using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), 1H 31P NMR spectroscopy well FT-IR, absorption luminescence in temperature range 300 - 77 K. rate constants radiative (Arad) non-radiative (Anrad) transitions, intrinsic (QLnLn) overall (QLnL) emission yields, sensitization efficiency (ηsens), experimental theoretical intensity parameters (Ωλ), forward (WS, WT) backward (WbS, WbT) intramolecular energy transfer (IET) rates were determined. Magnetic Tb3+ studied a constant field 0.5 T 1.8–300 Dynamic AC magnetic susceptibility measurements function frequency for 1Tb 2Tb. Only case 2Tb, presence an external DC field, slight dependence in-phase χ′ out-of-phase χ'' recorded. Based results, significant effect counterion chelates has demonstrated clarified, providing valuable guidance design bifunctional electromagnetic radiation converters.
