The preparation of single-crystal polymers with circularly polarized luminesce (CPL) remains a challenging task in chemistry and materials science. Herein, we present the single-crystal-to-single-crystal topochemical photopolymerization chiral organic salt to achieve this goal. in-situ reaction 1,4-bis((E)-2-(pyridin-4-yl)vinyl)benzene (1) (+)- or (−)-camphorsulfonic acid (CSA) gives monomer crystal 1[( + )/( − )-CSA]2 showing yellow CPL high luminescent dissymmetry factor |glum| 0.035 emission quantum yield Φ 49.7%. Upon photo-induced [2 2] polymerization, polyionic poly-1[( are obtained. (SCSC) is revealed by situ powder X-ray diffraction, X-ray, optical microscopy, infrared, circular dichroism, spectroscopic analyzes. Interestingly, photopolymer crystals show blue handedness-inverted 0.011 (Φ = 14.2%), respect crystal. Furthermore, patterned circularly-polarized photonic heterojunctions alternate sub-blocks prepared mask-assisted method. Our findings provide vision for fabricating high-performance CPL-active crystalline polymer materials, paving way further development photo-response systems. Single-crystal luminescence interesting but prepare. Here, authors report photopolymerisation form luminescence.

Abstract The interaction of circularly polarized (CP) light with chiral matter at different scales opens several possibilities manipulation in photonic and electronic devices. Here it is shown that a multilayer architecture, possible to take advantage the polarization‐selective reflection nematic arrangement cellulose nanocrystals strong intrinsic CP luminescence (CPL) various bands Eu complexes. In this way, both CPL total emission complex are modified depending on enantiomer applied detection geometry. This concept may apply for polarization control devices optical cavities.

Abstract A facile and general strategy is developed herein for the construction of circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) materials with simultaneously high fluorescence quantum efficiency (Φ) large dissymmetry factor (g lum ). The self‐assembly fluorescent dye, disodium 4,4′‐bis(2‐sulfonatostyryl)biphenyl (CBS), chiral diamines such as (R,R)/(S,S)‐1,2‐diaminocyclohexane (R/S‐DACH) R/S‐1,2‐diaminopropane (R/S‐DAP), produces four crystalline organic salt networks (COSNs). These as‐synthesized salts emit strong blue‐color CPL upon excitation, both Φ g values up to 79% 0.022. well‐defined molecular structures arrangements CBS are directly observed through single crystal X‐ray analysis, offering crucial information regarding origins high‐efficiency performance. chirality amine effectively transferred further amplified supramolecular structure by multiple hydrogen bonding π–π stacking interactions, giving rise factors; meanwhile, fixation ordered arrangement these interactions empower efficient suppression motions, facilitating fluorescence. This work can inspire assembly via charge‐assisted bonds between dyes inducers. It also offers important insight into structural
