Designing and developing novel photochromic materials with additional functions such as photothermal conversion photocatalysis are challenging but meaningful objectives. Crystalline naphthalenediimide (NDI)-based hybrids an attractive class of multifunctional fast-response photoinduced electron transfer charge separation properties. They promising photocatalysts. Herein, a hybrid material, EuPMo11O39(L)1.5(H2O)2]·DMA (EuMo-NDI) (L = N,N'-di(1-oxido-4-pyridyl)-1,4,5,8-naphthalenediimide), was prepared solvothermal method, integrating photoactive NDI derivative Eu-substituted polyoxometalate. EuMo-NDI exhibits 0D structure sensitive behavior under UV-vis light irradiation due to between its components. The colored sample demonstrated efficient near-infrared the strong absorption photogenerated radical anion NDI•- mixed valence heteropoly blue in region. In aqueous solution systems, an all-inorganic Ni6-added polyoxometalate (Ni6AP) [Ni6(μ3-OH)3(H2O)12(B-α-SiW9O34)]1- ({Ni6SiW9}, here, {Ni6} = Ni6(μ3-OH)3(H2O)12) has been made via a hydrothermal method. By introducing inorganic boron sources, B3O3(OH)6 ({B3}) cluster was precisely anchored onto to form [B3O3(OH)6Ni6(μ3-OH)2(H2O)8(B-α-SiW9O34)]3- ({B3Ni6(OH)2(H2O)8SiW9}) through replacing four terminal water molecules and condensing with one hydroxyl of the cluster. Subsequently, addition further sources facilitated in situ growth B-O clusters on basis {B3Ni6(OH)2(H2O)8SiW9}, which resulted successful synthesis {[B7O8O2/3(OH)6Ni6(μ3-OH)2(H2O)8(B-α-SiW9O34)]3}7- ({B7Ni6(OH)2(H2O)8SiW9}3 or {B21}@{Ni6(OH)2(H2O)8SiW9}3). It is first cage constructed by NiAPs clusters, successfully realizes borate functionalized POMs from single The central {B7O8O2/3(OH)6}3 ({B21}) exhibits uncommon cavity configuration. Meanwhile, we have conducted discussion possible formation mechanism NiAPs. Furthermore, these three compounds efficiently accelerate oxidative transformation sulfides, number B atoms relatively affects selectivity products.

Abstract Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by brain aggregates of amyloid-β (Aβ) plaques and Tau tangles. Despite extensive research, effective therapy for AD remains elusive. Polyoxometalates (POMs), class inorganic compounds with diverse chemical structures properties, are emerging as potential candidates treatment due to their ability target key molecular players implicated in pathogenesis, such Aβ, acetylcholinesterase (AChE) butyryl (BChE). Here, we use docking predict the binding pose affinities POMs 10 top targets associated AD. First, validate our method replicating experimentally known Aβ (Δ G = – 9.67 kcal/mol), AChE 9.39 kcal/mol) BChE 10.86 kcal/mol). While metal-oxide cluster anions (polyoxometalates, or POMs) stabilize metal nanoparticles (NPs) and nanocrystals (NCs) via established interactions, little is known concerning how POMs might PbS NCs. Small (ca. 3 nm) Rh Ir NPs are stabilized "electrosterically", i.e, combined electrostatic steric factors, while larger Au NPs, with less severe curvatures, protected by electrostatically monolayers involving the intercalation of countercations between close-packed assemblies POM polyanions. By contrast, heteropolytungstates NCs electrostatically, as observed for charged colloids, but also through direct coordination, wherein monolacunary heteropolytungstate-coordinated cations form μ-oxo linkages to ions at NC surface. This raises a general question metal-chalcogenide We now report that room-temperature reaction Pb2+-substituted Wells-Dawson anion, α2-[P2PbW17O61]8-, Na2S in water provides 4 ± 1 nm These, turn, lacunary α2-[P2W17O61]10- (1) generated delivery Pb2+ sulfide.
