Abstract Conventional polychromatic electrochemiluminescence (ECL) imaging is realized with the several separated luminophores at different potentials. In this study, an emerging ECL system was constructed based on single heteroligand metal–organic framework (MOF) crystals as nanoemitters through intrareticular energy transfer process. The MOF crystals, named h‐NJU‐241, were coassembled of meso ‐tetrakis(4‐carboxyphenyl)porphyrin (TCPP) 1,3,6,8‐tetrakis( p ‐benzoic acid)pyrene (TBAPy) ligand using benzoic acid catalyst coordination ability, leading to conjugated spacing 0.624 nm between two ligands. Remarkably, efficiency 92.2% achieved when weight ratio TCPP acceptor and TBAPy donor only 1.87‰. Different from monoligand MOFs, h‐NJU‐241 exhibits dual emissions in both blue red regions one step applied potential, which first example for crystals. Furthermore, by adjusting reaction conditions, morphology distribution porphyrin within crystal can be dynamically controlled, providing a tailored platform decoding fundamentals imaging.

Tuberculosis (TB) is a highly contagious bacterial infection that remains leading cause of death and persistent threat to global health. The spread TB exacerbated by the major limitations conventional diagnostic approaches, such as complex technicalities, high cost, low sensitivity. To address these challenges, recent research has focused on using electrochemiluminescence (ECL) an alternative detection strategy coupled biosensors. ECL biosensors leverage electrochemically generated chemiluminescence, converting electrical energy light, novel transduction mechanism for This unique approach offers several advantages, namely, wide linear dynamic ranges, improved device sensitivities, prompt response times sensitive early detection. Review comprehensive overview advancements in biosensor configurations, including amplification strategies, substrates, development luminophores coreactants tailored biomarker focus designs, biorecognition elements like immunosensors, DNA sensors, aptasensors, along with various immobilization strategies target specific biomarkers. A discussion spans trends over past decade, clinical relevance, sensitivity thresholds, limits. Furthermore, widely recognized biomarkers commonly detected commercial tests are discussed alongside markers that, while not exclusive TB, have demonstrated importance. aims highlight potential ECL-based effective means advance early, reliable, accessible approach.
