recent
observations
in
the

reviewed,

processes.

status
quo

summarized,
revealing

persistent
free
radicals,
graphitic
degree
and
electron
transfer
capacity
collectively
synergistically
regulate
catalytic
potency.
These
remarkable

convey
biochar's
high
activity
flexibility
into
viable

electrocatalysis.
