Construction
of
sustainable
composite
biofilms
from
natural
biopolymers
are
greatly
promising
for
advanced
packaging
applications
due
to
their
biodegradable,
biocompatible,
and
renewable
properties.
In
this
work,
food
films
developed
by
incorporating
lignin
nanoparticles
(LNPs)
as
green
nanofillers
starch
films.
This
seamless
combination
bio-nanofiller
with
biopolymer
matrix
is
enabled
the
uniform
size
strong
interfacial
hydrogen
bonding.
As
a
result,
as-prepared
biocomposites
exhibit
enhanced
mechanical
properties,
thermal
stability,
antioxidant
activity.
Moreover,
they
also
present
outstanding
ultraviolet
(UV)
irradiation
shielding
performance.
proof
concept
in
application
packaging,
we
evaluate
effect
on
delaying
oxidative
deterioration
soybean
oil.
The
results
indicate
our
film
could
significantly
decrease
peroxide
value
(POV),
saponification
(SV),
acid
(AV)
delay
oxidation
oil
during
storage.

simple
effective
method

barrier
properties
applications.
