Electrospun micro-/nanofibers with tailor-made specific binding sites are extremely popular due to their tremendous potential in separation applications. In this work, teamed boronate affinity (TBA)-functionalized molecularly imprinted hollow carbon electrospun nanofibers (MI-HCESNFs) derived from ZIF-8/PAN fibers selective toward shikimic acid (SA) presented. Each ingredient used strategy plays its own part: HCESNFs excellent structural characteristics as the highly porous substrate, KH560 grafting material for follow-up polyethyleneimine (PEI) modification, PEI dendritic platform approach more boronic owing long chain abundant amino groups, and TBA molecular group functional monomer specifically bind SA under neutral condition. Benefiting structure, high density of acid, accessible on surface, MI-HCESNFs show strong selectivity molecules. The adsorption capacity can reach 127.8 mg g–1, which is 3.1 times larger than that non-imprinted material. Besides, stable when treated continuous ultrasonication be recycled eight a slight loss 8.615% quantity. This work presents new prepare adsorbents based electrospinning technique capture also proposes path integration polymers electrospinning.
