The degradation of organic pollutants present in domestic and industrial effluents is a matter concern because their high persistence ecotoxicity. We investigated the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 nanoparticles (TiO2-NPs) and nanotubes (TiO2-NTs) supported on a floating polyurethane (PU) foam for removing Bisphenol A (BPA) as model pollutant. fabricated TiO2-NPs by sol-gel method TiO2-NTs ultrasound-assisted hydrothermal method. Subsequently, photocatalysts were immobilized onto PU through wet chemical deposition process. The synthesized characterized contact angle, SEM-EDS, TEM, XRD, DRS, BET analyses. successfully deposited foam, creating denoted TiO2-NPs@PU TiO2-NTs@PU. Our findings indicated that nanotubular structure enhanced removal efficiency BPA relative to nanoparticles, resulting in complete pollutant over 180 min simulated sunlight irradiation.
