The development of new and advanced materials for various environmental energy applications is a prerequisite the future. In this research, removal hazardous moxifloxacin (MOX) accomplished by synthesizing hybrids MOF-5 i.e., Ni/Mo.S2/MOF-5/GO, Ni.S2/MOF-5/GO, Mo.S2/MOF-5/GO, Ni/Mo.S2/MOF-5 nanocomposites using metal-organic framework (MOF-5) graphene oxide (GO) as precursor. introduction NixMoxS2 facilitates unique interfacial charge transfer at heterojunction, demonstrating significant improvement in separation effectiveness photochemical electron-hole pairs. To evaluate equilibrium adsorption capacity, time, pH, concentration organic pollutants were used experimental parameters. kinetics data reveals pseudo-first-order (R2 = 0.965) when Ni/Mo.S2/MOF-5/GO photocatalyst was irradiated under light 90 min against MOX degradation. This led to narrow band gap (2.06 eV compared 2.30 Ni/Mo.S2/MOF-5), well excellent photocatalytic activity photodegradation (MOX), listed order: (95%) > Ni.S2/MOF-5/GO (93%) Mo.S2/MOF5/GO (90%) (86%) concentrations up 2.0 mgL−1, caused production superoxide (O2•−) hydroxide (OH•) radicals, which encouraged effective activities heterostructure. After five successive tests its mechanical stability, impressive recyclability results revealed only tiny variation efficiency from 95% (for first three runs) 93% (in fourth run) 90% fifth run). These findings show that heterostructure an heterojunction quick elimination aqueous media.
