Abstract Biodiesel produced from different edible and non‐edible feedstocks is a viable alternative option for fueling combustion engine. However, the widespread use of sources biodiesel production may lead to food versus fuel controversy. Oil feedstock best possible solution problems that inhibits on commercial scale. This study presents potential production. Several aspects such as extraction technologies used extracting oil pathways are discussed. The quality should be assured before its commercialization by physical chemical characterization techniques used. In particular, emission comparison derived Based this study, have produce but still it has long way go. due in R&D phase needs more research eliminate additional treatment steps compared economic aspects. Furthermore, there been trade off properties biodiesels which must removed or evaluated pilot scale investigations commercialization.

Membrane technology has been embraced as a feasible and suitable substitute for conventional time- energy-intensive biodiesel synthesis processes. It is ecofriendly, easier to run regulate, requires less energy than approaches, with excellent stability. Therefore, the present study involved application of highly reactive recyclable Titania-based heterogeneous nanocatalyst (TiO2) production from nonedible Azadhiracta indica seed oil via membrane reactor, since easily widely accessible rich content (39% w/w). The high free fatty acids (6.52 mg/g KOH) was decreased 1% two-step esterification. Following esterification, transesterification performed using TiO2 under optimum conditions, such 9:1 methanol–oil molar ratio, 90 °C reaction temperature, 2 wt.% catalyst loading, an agitation rate 600 rpm, yield optimized through response surface methodology (RSM). contains 68.98% unsaturated (61.01% oleic acid, 8.97% linoleic acid) 31.02% saturated (15.91% palmitic 15.11% stearic acid). Due its physicochemical properties, Azadirachta recommended feedstock production. Moreover, it concluded that effective high-quality liquid fuel in which could be optional green route cleaner bioenergy, eventually leading sustenance, robustness, resilience will aid developing holistic framework integrated waste management.
