Abstract Recently, the removal of tetracycline, a toxic material, from aquatic medium has been trending subject research. Several different technologies including adsorption, biological method, solvent extraction, coagulation, chemical reduction, photocatalysis and ion exchange method for tetracyclines wastewater have reported. However, (TC) gained huge interest because more efficient mineralization TC into CO 2 water. nanomaterial based photocatalytic assemblies widely reported which not critically reviewed in literature. This study provides an overview recent progress classification, synthesis, characterizations, mechanism inorganic metal organic framework nanocatalytic on medium. Additionally, kinetics factors affecting discussed briefly. Future perspectives also presented further advancement this area.
