Herein, a thermo-actuated aphid-inspired dry adhesive (TADA) that offers tunable and reversible adhesion is reported. It easily fabricated through 3D printing using polylactic acid (PLA) filament silicone elastomer, avoiding the use of unfavorable methods for micro- nanofabrication unwanted particles actuation. The system mimics aphid biology to achieve switchability. Switching between states enabled by PLA, which has shape memory properties.
