Abstract Both piezoelectricity and self-Fenton catalysis are effective ways to degrade water pollution, but little research has combined them construct a more efficient pollution treatment method. Here, Fe-doped SnS 2 (Sn 1-x Fe x S ) piezoelectric system was constructed, which shows superior performance. The best properties of the Sn 0.97 0.03 were verified by degrading rhodamine B (RhB). toxicity analysis degradation intermediates solutions confirmed that RhB decreased after degradation. In addition, Kelvin probe force microscopy photoelectrochemical better . It demonstrated enhancement systematic lattice defects formation as an active center in RhB. this work, technology is constructed remove organic pollutants from water, significant for developing technology.
