Abstract Printed electronics are electronic devices fabricated on flexible substrates using a wide range of printing techniques, which have the characteristics lightness, thinness, softness, bendability, and transparency. Inkjet is suitable technique for fabrication high‐precision low‐cost because they customizable, integrable, reconfigurable. However, maintaining stability during ink preparation, printing, evaporation process to ensure high accuracy quality has posed tremendous challenges until today. In this paper, principles methods from three aspects: reviewed. First, comprehensive colloidal dispersion mechanisms involved in summarized reviewed recent advancements made preparation 2D material inks. Second, fluid dynamics inkjet achieving stable straight lines analyzed, originally proposed “phase diagram” predicting morphology printed lines, first theoretically predict necessary conditions obtaining yet lines. Finally, supposed suppress/eliminate/utilize “coffee ring effect”, especially several self‐assembly methods.
