This study explores the potential of LDH flakes decorated with metallic oxide nanoparticles to function as both anti-corrosion barriers against chloride anions and heterogeneous photocatalysts for tetracycline degradation under visible light. The process involves modifying primarily MgO-based inorganic porous film by growing a MgFe film, followed individual dual incorporation SnO2 WO3 nanoparticles. these into matrix leads synergistic interactions, effectively sealing pre-existing defects within facilitating in-situ formation catalytic sites through oxidation induction surface oxygen vacancy defects, which synergistically contribute enhancement electrochemical photocatalytic activities. enhanced stability is reflected in significant reduction corrosion current density 4 orders magnitude compared unmodified film. Additionally, demonstrates sustained functionality, achieving (95.5 %) two hours. presents novel approach, highlighting effectiveness LDHs metal oxides an anti-corrosive agent photocatalyst, promising implications environmental remediation wastewater purification.
