This study explores the effectiveness of a new composite membrane fabricated from poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) and UiO-66(COOH)2 metal-organic framework (MOF) for removal heavy metals water. The electrospinning technique was successfully employed to homogeneously incorporate nanocrystals into PVC, producing fibrous membranes. membranes were fully characterized using several techniques such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), capillary flow porometry, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), tensile strength analysis. metal performance evaluated against lead, cadmium, mercury in both single mixed solutions at different concentrations. Results indicated high efficiency (>90%) selectivity lead solutions, especially concentrations less than 50 ppm, along with adsorption capacity (Qmax = 203 mg/g). While cadmium demonstrated lower % 40% compared 80% it exhibited highest 1312 mg/g) among three metals. For mercury, however, decrease more pronounced, only 10% systems lowest 40.5 Further experiments showed that presence salts, chlorides, nitrates, sulfates, did not significantly affect removal. Conversely, consistently low, regardless these conditions. Additionally, temperature-dependent studies revealed increasing temperature enhanced capacity, confirming process spontaneous endothermic. Interestingly, reusability consistent over 90% after four cycles use, particularly 15 although other efficiency. Almost all pollutants better fit Langmuir second-order kinetic models, suggesting is single-layered chemical process. Furthermore, holder design three-dimensional (3D) printing tested underscore potential PVC/MOFs effective materials efficient rapid remediation (5 mins) contaminated water sources. improved while maintaining mechanical stability, addressing issue handling MOFs alone by providing robust matrix support membrane. approach facilitates easier efficiency, paving way industrial applications.

Introduction Osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative disease of the joints characterized by cartilage degradation and synovial inflammation. Due to complex pathogenesis OA, multifaceted therapies that modulate inflammatory immune microenvironmental disturbances while promoting regeneration are key control progression OA. Methods Herein, multifunctional nanoparticle (DIC/Mg-PDA NPs) was constructed successfully metal chelation effect between Mg 2+ catecholamine bond from dopamine, followed amidation with diclofenac (DIC), which then prepared into an injectable hydrogel microsphere (DIC/Mg-PDA@HM) immune-regulating cartilage-repairing abilities through microfluidic technology for treatment osteoarthritis. Results discussion The sustained release composite microspheres achieved regulation converting macrophages M1 M2 promoted differentiation BMSCs. Moreover, enhanced DIC polydopamine (PDA) effectively downregulated factors, finally OA therapy. In addition, in vivo MRI tissue section staining model proved significant efficacy on conclusion, these novel demonstrated promising prospect multidisciplinary repairing
