Abstract Periodontitis is a severe gum infection characterized by inflammation of the tissues surrounding teeth. The disease challenging to manage due its exposure wet and dynamic oral environment, where conventional hydrogels often suffer from weak adhesion, short residence time, vulnerability bacterial invasion. In this study, an innovative hydrogel system based on in situ light curing proposed. precursor, comprising sodium alginate calcium ion network, designed adhere irregular smooth surfaces periodontal tissue before curing. Upon irradiation, second network polymerizes rapidly, establishing multiple interactions with tissue, which enhances adhesion strength. Benefited engineering strategy, exhibits low swelling rate, effectively mitigating loss moist environment. Additionally, demonstrates excellent long‐lasting maintaining presence over 120 hours. It also serves as effective physical barrier against invasion, achieving blocking efficiency 99.9%. This novel design concept offers promising approach for developing advanced medical dressings periodontitis, providing sustained therapeutic benefits.
