Nitric oxide (NO) has received growing attention as an effective antibacterial agent with broad-spectrum activity and a low risk of resistance. However, it remains challenging to develop effective, controllable, biocompatible NO-releasing materials. Here, we report novel NO nanogenerator (AL-BNN6-PEG) self-assembled by lignin, UV-absorbing hydrophobic donor (

Background: Healing environments in post-surgical wards are crucial for patient recovery. Despite their importance, there is a lack of such many hospitals Khyber Pukhtunkhwa (KPK), Pakistan, which affects outcomes. Objective: This study aimed to assess the presence healing environment factors selected tertiary care KPK, and determine satisfaction with these factors. Methods: The utilized purposive sampling technique select 200 respondents from five KPK: Ayub Teaching Hospital (H1) Abbottabad, (H2) Peshawar, Government Lady Reading (H3) Hayatabad Medical Complex (H4) Saidu Group Hospitals (H5) Shareef. Data were collected using structured questionnaires observational studies conducted November December 2022. Observational data focused on factors: access nature, control choices, positive distractions, social support, environmental stressors. Ethical approval was obtained, informed consent secured all participants. analyzed descriptive inferential statistics identify impact Results: revealed that support only significantly present factor across hospitals, largely due cultural religious practices rather than intentional design. Access distractions notably lacking. Specifically, 60-70% reported while 20-30% indicated other Environmental stressors absent two indicating variance quality different settings. Conclusion: absence key highlights significant gap hospital design, impacting recovery satisfaction. Integrating principles into design can enhance outcomes Future interventions should consider elements create more effective supportive healthcare environments.
