The synergistic effect between bimetallic catalysts has been confirmed as an effective method for activating persulfate (PMS). Therefore, we immobilized copper–cobalt on chitosan to prepare carbon PMS activation and degradation of reactive dyes. Experimental results demonstrate that the CuCo-CTs/PMS catalytic system exhibits excellent performance toward various types dyes (e.g., Ethyl violet, Chlortalidone, Di chlorotriazine), with rates reaching 90% within 30 min. CuCo-CTs exhibit high activity over a wide pH range 3–11 at room temperature under static conditions, degrading 92% RV5 60 ultraviolet–visible (UV–vis) spectroscopy color changes in dye solution confirm RV5, rate 97.2% 10 Additionally, good stability reusability, maintaining 92.8% after eight cycles. Kinetic studies indicate follows pseudo-first-order kinetics. Furthermore, based radical scavenging experiments, mechanism involves both nonradical pathways, 1O2 identified primary active species. This study provides insights experimental evidence application oxidation treatment dyeing wastewater.

In recent years, there has been increasing concern regarding the widespread occurrence of dyes in aquatic environments, due to their harmful effects on both water quality and human health. This investigation uses bauxite residue as a cost-effective sorbent eradicate hazardous reactive blue (RB) dye from aqueous solutions. The reusability potential was also evaluated. characterized by X-ray diffraction, Cation Exchange Capacity, Chemical analysis, FTIR, Analysis particle size distribution. RB adsorption parameters revealed that removal efficiency capacity 100% 186.01 mg/g, respectively, under following conditions: adsorbent dosage 0.5 mg/L, initial pH 2, concentration 50 reaction temperature 25 °C. Furthermore, followed pseudo-second-order kinetic Freundlich isotherm models. After one cycle, for reached mg/g. regeneration study remained 99% its original condition cycle.

To fulfil the goals of circular economy, treatment textile wastewater should be focused on recovery valuable components. Monovalent anion-selective electrodialysis (MASED) was applied for separation reactive dyes from mineral salts. Standard cation-exchange membranes (CM membranes) and monovalent selective anion-exchange (MVA were used in (ED) stack. The efficiency evaluated model solutions various (varying molecular weight chemical reactivity) containing NaCl. In course MASED, salt successfully removed dye with an efficacy 97.4–99.4%, irrespectively composition treated solution. transport molecules through ion-exchange (IEMs) diluate to concentrate compartments irrelevant. Nonetheless, a significant adsorption particles observed. Around 11–40% initial mass deposited ED Dye intensity significantly affected by reactivity. This study showed potential MASED process condition that antifouling membrane properties are improved. obtained streams (the rich dye) can reused dye-house operations; however, some loss included.

Abstract Red mud, a voluminous industrial waste produced during the Bayer process in alumina industry, has numerous application possibilities across various fields. Its potential uses are diverse, ranging from construction industry and metallurgy to environmental protection agriculture. There three main aspects of red mud utilization. First, it can be analyzed point view resource utilization, where could applied as raw material mostly industry. Second, useful source valuable components, such rare earths metals, especially iron. Third, have different applications, wastewater treatment, soil remediation, etc.The paper summarizes current data on utilization methods aims emphasize for
