The rapid and complete spreading of liquids on surfaces, which is defined as superspreading, great importance in academic research practical applications. strong shear flow force during the superspreading process obtained confined stable homogeneous thin liquid layers have potential assembly functional nanomaterials synthesis. This review aims to summarize fundamental understanding emerging applications superspreading-based synthesis nanomaterials. First, several typical processes are briefly introduced, followed by highlighting unique properties design principles. Then, details about for highly efficient films superspreading-induced into high-quality nanocomposite materials presented. following section then describes fabricated nanocomposites. Finally, an outlook future development also proposed.

Thorium is a notable candidate for resolving uranium shortage caused by the global application of nuclear power generation. Uranium extraction from seawater another attempt to handle its source deficiency, however, vanadium one main competitive elements in that process. Exploration probes which can discriminatively detect thorium and has primary significance their further separation environmental protection. Herein, N′-(2,4-dihydroxybenzylidene)-4-hydroxylphenylhydrazide, AOH, used as sensor Th4+ vanadyl (VO2+) determination. AOH demonstrates specific “turn-on” fluorescence selectivity towards over f-block other foreign metal ions, with detection limit (LOD) 7.19 nM acidic solution binding constant 9.97 × 109 M−2. Meanwhile, it shows “turn-off” response VO2+ ions at coexistence Th4+, LOD 0.386 μM same media 4.54 104 M−1. The recognition mechanism, based on HRMS, 1H NMR, FT-IR results, causes quenching replacing coordinate AOH. In real water tests, exhibited satisfying recoveries. These findings expand sensors nuclide pollution control.
