Abstract Biodegradable polymers (BPs)‐based triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) have advantages, including biocompatibility and biodegradability. However, biodegradable TENGs (BD‐TENGs) possess relatively low output performance, limiting their application due to the small differences in polarities for most BPs. Molecular doping is a simple effective method altering polarity of materials improving performance BD‐TENGs. there lack laws mechanism about different doped molecules, especially molecules with biodegradability biocompatibility. Here, kinds are selected tribopositive tribonegative materials, respectively, related researched. In particular, BD‐TENG improved several times by amounts poly (propylene glycol) (PPG) ethyl cellulose (EC), enhanced resolution abnormal respiratory signal monitoring. This work not only provides theoretical guidance selection but also conducts in‐depth research molecular‐level mechanisms.
