Most of the existing hydrogel dressings have inadequacies in mechanical performance, biological activities, compatibility, or versatility, which results development rapid, green, and cost-effective approaches for hydrogels biochemical biomedical applications becoming a top-priority task. Herein, inspired by inherent bioactivity, water retention properties, biocompatibility natural polysaccharide hydrogels, we prepared self-healing gels. Using Bletilla striata (BSP), carboxymethyl chitosan (CMCS), borax via borate ester linkages, created hemostatic Chinese herbal medicine varying concentrations (2.5%, 3.0%, 4.0%). A rotational rheometer was used to describe hydrogels' shape rheological characteristics. At all concentrations, it found that elastic modulus (G') consistently significantly outperformed their viscous (G″), suggesting robust internal structure. All had cell viability levels as high 100% hemolysis rates below 1%, indicating outstanding biocompatibility. Furthermore, demonstrated superior qualities an vivo mouse tail amputation model, well vitro coagulation tests. The show possesses excellent good thus paving way potential green hydrogel.
