Abstract Chronic venous disease (CVD) causes a heavy social and economic burden, which not only seriously diminishes the quality of life but also increases healthcare costs for patients. Herein, compression stocking fabricated with polyurethane fibers is developed, exhibits excellent antimicrobial shape memory properties. In particular, introduction 1,2‐hydroxyethylpiperazine (HEP) dramatically shortens relaxation time effectively promotes properties polyurethane. Furthermore, wet spinning knitting methods are applied to obtain stockings, whose interfacial pressure ranges from 8 35 mmHg can be regulated via initial tension trigger temperatures as needed. addition, stockings demonstrate properties, achieving an inactivation rate 99.99% against S. aureus E. coli , while superior cytocompatibility negligible skin irritation guarantee its biomedical applications. Overall, manage solve two major problems regulation bacterial infection CVD patients, highly important care this public health disease.
