In order to move toward sustainability, many countries have made the production of renewable energy one their main priorities due issues global warming brought on by greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and decline in supply fossil fuels. Therefore, H2 via sustainable processes is option that can be done relieve problems. The chapter involves gasification using feedstock firstly discussed. Then improvement process more efficient, including integration installation carbon capture utilization system, explained. Next, environmental benefits terms neutrality, waste reduction, security are presented. Finally, future outlook

The microwave chemical looping synergistic gasification characteristics of municipal solid waste polypropylene plastic and the organic water hyacinth are experimentally investigated in this study. In addition, characterizations oxygen carriers before after reaction combined to analyze evolution microscopic morphology changes relative contents each valence state Fe O elements. results show that an increase mixing ratio presents positive effects on tar cracking a slight negative effect syngas yield. At 75%, cold gas efficiency carbon conversion can reach maximum values 77.64% 69.9%, respectively. H2 yield H2/CO be also improved 0.34 Nm3/kg 1.62, minimum 0.133 g/g (fuel) obtained at ratio. Moreover, addition has continuous monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (MAH) products tar, decrease naphthalene bicyclic hydrocarbons (NAH) products. This work explores properties plastics agroforestry wastes during gasification, which is useful exploration for solving environmental problems caused by materials as well realizing resourceful utilization wastes.
