This article discusses the synthesis and structural characteristics of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), specifically ZIF-8 ZIF-67, their potential applications in removal toxic organic pollutants from water. These materials belong to class porous coordination polymers, which have attracted attention due unique crystalline structure, high specific surface area, for tunable porosity functional groups. Special emphasis is placed on studying adsorption properties ZIF-67 using anionic dye Congo red aqueous solutions as an example, allowing evaluation effectiveness adsorbents. Research has shown that both exhibit capacities, amounting 74.15 mg/g 81.27 attributed ability molecules penetrate structure frameworks. The corresponds Langmuir isotherm model, indicating predominantly monolayer interactions with adsorbent surface. Kinetic analysis showed achieves 53.8% efficiency 24 hours, while 46.6%, confirming significant these chemical environmental engineering effective wastewater treatment.
