The gas-sensitive performance and selectivity of gas sensors via different Sn-doped indium oxide (In2O3) films have been investigated. response characteristics were significantly enhanced to methanol (CH4O), ethanol (C2H6O), acetone (C3H6O) with the increase in Sn content, while time recovery became shorter. sensor exhibited strongest ethanol, followed by then all ratios In2O3 (90%, 85%, 80%) SnO2 (10%, 15%, 20%). mechanism doping on sensing was calculated using density functional theory (DFT) method, which perfectly explained experimental results. demonstrated high towards even presence interfering gases.
