This study develops a readily implementable surface modification technique for Al alloys by combining electroplating alloy films with depositing stearic acid to make durable superhydrophobic coating. Selecting as anode innovatively, the introduction of element improves adherence and roughness coating through principle identical reactive (RE) effect. can be preferentially combined oxygen reduce partial pressure oxygen, inhibiting outward diffusion oxidation electroplated components, reducing defects formed metal elements accompanying porosity cracks. Besides, dense stable nature oxide film RE effect better protect substrates from oxidation. It is shown that crystallinity resistance significantly enhanced Notably, champion water contact angle has reached 162° ± 0.7°, significant reduction in observed. research potential provide simplified fabrication process Ni–Cr–W pave way development durability film.
