Diabetes, which has become a major public health problem, is treated by certain plants in our regions, including Imperata cylindrica. The aqueous extract of the dried roots this plant was obtained infusion. various chemical groups total were evaluated using methods described Houghton and Raman. Rats made diabetic injection single dose (50mg/kg bw) streptozotocin with different doses compared glibenclamide. Treatment began 28 days after lasted days. Blood glucose glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) measured before injection, treatment extract, one week cessation treatment. Histopathological sections pancreas then taken. The phytochemical screening study carried out on showed that it contains sterols, polyterpenes, polyphenols, flavonoids, alkaloids saponosides. levels normal rats ranged from 0.902±0.009 g/L to 1.013±0.00 3.377±0.130% 3.87±0.186%. Untreated blood increased 3.26±0.26 9.583±0.322% at D63 respectively. One discontinuation treatment, values glibenclamide remained batches extract. Histological reconstituting cells. normalizes lowers hemoglobin, justifying its traditional use diabetes.

White adipose tissue (WAT) is essential for energy storage and metabolic homeostasis, plays a central role in the pathology of obesity type 2 diabetes. Vascular networks within WAT support oxygen nutrient supply regulate adipogenesis, yet mechanisms underlying endothelial-adipocyte crosstalk under both healthy dysfunctional conditions remain unclear. Here, we present vascularized organoid (vAO) model engineered from human adipose-derived stem cells induced pluripotent cell-derived endothelial (SC-ECs). The 3D cell culture enables adipogenesis angiogenesis controlled conditions. vAOs demonstrated enhanced β-adrenergic-induced lipolysis insulin-stimulated glucose uptake. Single-cell transcriptomics revealed distinct stromal subtypes, including perivascular adipocyte precursors maturing SC-ECs shaped by PDGFB signaling. knockdown disrupted alignment lipolysis, highlighting critical endothelial-pericyte interactions. This study provides versatile platform to dissect explore pathways that control WAT-remodeling determine its function. Our vAO therefore presents unique molecularly functionally patient-specific dysfunctions, advancing our portfolio personalized therapies importance communication.

CD63 is a tetraspanin initially associated with late endosomes and contributes to numerous functions at the cell level, such as intracellular endosomal lysosomal trafficking, adhesion, motility. also plays key role in biogenesis release of exosomes, i.e., small extracellular vesicles (EVs) origin, facilitating formation multivesicular bodies (MVBs), coordination sorting complexes required for transport (ESCRT) machinery, selection cargoes carried by future fusion MVBs plasma membrane exosome release. In recent publication Nature Cell Biology , Guillaume van Niel’s team provides arguments favor another EV-linked function CD63, namely regulation cholesterol storage EVs endogenous origin. Complemented two other publications from teams Keisuke Ito Xabier Ostreikoetxea, which respectively describe (i) mitochondrial metabolism on (ii) link between reduced CD63+ dyslipidemia, these highlight homeostasis through exosomes more widely physiological pathological conditions. Future research may thus redefine our approach cellular lipid management therapeutic delivery.
