As a cytoskeletal protein, the four and half LIM domain protein 1 (FHL1) is widely expressed in various cells, particularly skeletal cardiac muscle cells. FHL1 involved development of myocardium, regulations gene transcription thyroid function, other physiological processes. Its expression closely related to numerous diseases, such as disease viral infections. With advances research, role tumors also being revealed. The mechanism regulation tumor growth complex becoming research focus. It expected become potential target for therapy. Therefore, present article reviewed progress on cancer.
