Background:
The
increasing
incidence
and
poor
outcomes
of
recurrent
thyroid
cancer
highlight
the
need
for
innovative
therapies.
Ferroptosis,
a
regulated
cell
death
process
linked
to
tumour
microenvironment
(TME),
offers
promising
antitumour
strategy.
This
study
explored
immune-related
ferroptosis
genes
(IRFGs)
in
uncover
novel
therapeutic
targets.
Methods:
CIBERSORTx
WGCNA
were
applied
data
from
TCGA-THCA
identify
hub
genes.
A
prognostic
model
composed
IRFGs
was
constructed
using
LASSO
Cox
regression.
Pearson
correlation
employed
analyse
relationships
between
immune
features.
Single-cell
RNA
sequencing
(scRNA-seq)
revealed
gene
expression
subsets,
qRT–PCR
used
validation.
Results:
Twelve
identified
through
WGCNA,
leading
classification
samples
into
three
distinct
subtypes.

differences

risk
score

on

key

CCL5,
NCF2,

ACTB),
which
found
be
closely
associated
with
infiltration
responses
within
TME.

carcinoma
past
10
years
by
using
bibliometrics
visualization
software,
provide
reference
for
directions
field.

database
searched
from
January
1,
2012,
October
30,
2024,
annual
publication
volume,
countries,
institutions,
journals,
authors,
references,
keywords,
other
information
were
analyzed
bibliometrics,
VOSviewer,
CiteSpace.
Results
A
total
645
English
articles
729
institutions
32
countries
included
study,
with
4545
authors
published
261
journals.
In
three
years,
518
published,
accounting
80.3%.
China
has
most
publications,
followed
United
States.
Frontiers
Oncology
had
highest
number
papers
(n=26),
while
Cell
citations
(n=1206).
current
mainly
focuses
on
two
aspects:
one
is
mechanism
explore
new
therapeutic
targets,
exploration
methods,
such
as
photodynamic
therapy
nanomaterials,
order
inhibit
proliferation
tumor
cells,
reduce
drug
resistance,
enhance
efficacy
regulating
ferroptosis,
which
may
become
a
development
trend.

there

studies
