Abstract Previous studies on epoxy foams were subjected to the specific property, and improvements in thermal insulation or dielectric property usually accompanied by sacrifice of mechanical strength stability. The current research reported a high‐performance foam pre‐curing process using E‐51/DDS expandable microsphere (EMP) as polymer matrix physical blowing agent, respectively. effect EMP loading structure & was reported. mean diameter E‐51/EMP range 19–21 μm. compression fit for power‐law model its integrity well maintained during compressive test.
