Abstract Previous studies on epoxy foams were subjected to the specific property, and improvements in thermal insulation or dielectric property usually accompanied by sacrifice of mechanical strength stability. The current research reported a high‐performance foam pre‐curing process using E‐51/DDS expandable microsphere (EMP) as polymer matrix physical blowing agent, respectively. effect EMP loading structure & was reported. mean diameter E‐51/EMP range 19–21 μm. compression fit for power‐law model its integrity well maintained during compressive test. Compared with bulky epoxy, significant decrease conductivity 62.93% observed 10 wt% EMP‐filled foam. showed superior stabilities, T 5% over 300°C. constant decreased 54.5% from 4.92 2.24 (10 EMP). Notably, there percolation phenomenon (6 wt%) regarding This study provides lightweight, robust, high‐temperature‐resistant, low‐dielectric‐constant wide application prospects buoyant, electronic packaging, energy‐saving industries.
