Ceramic materials based on TiB 2 and stabilized ZrO were obtained by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS). The stabilization of the phases was carried out introducing Y O 3 into initial mixture. effect content combustion characteristics studied materials, as well phase composition products in range concentrations from 0 to 6,2 wt. %, studied. Gorenje. To study shear deformation process free SHS compression, compact plates with dimensions 50×50×7 mm compositions. It has been established that a result under conditions without pressure application, reaction have different resulting are composite consisting matrix particles distributed it.

The primary grain size, sintering conditions, and admixtures have a significant impact on the growth of alumina ceramics. Three kinds powders with varying sizes zirconia nanoparticles were selected configured into five compositions zirconia-toughened (ZTA) As-received granules used to sinter bulk ceramics at temperatures 1520 °C, 1600 1680 °C for durations 0.5–2 h, respectively. average in ZTA studied as function temperature, time, particle size raw materials. results demonstrated that addition nano led slight reduction more uniform distribution. incorporation (15 wt.%) resulted concentration among grains, effectively inhibiting resulting from 11.73 5.63 μm after 1 h.

Zirconia ceramics (ZrO2) have received significant attention due to their excellent mechanical properties and broad application prospects. Additive manufacturing, especially nanoparticle jetting (NPJ), offers a new approach for fabricating zirconia with complex geometries. However, the sintering process plays crucial role in determining final of these ceramics, effect temperature on NPJ printed remains be fully understood. This study investigates impact fabricated via NPJ. NPJ-printed ZrO2 green bodies were sintered at varying temperatures, phase composition, microstructure, flexural strength analyzed. Results show that as rises from 800 °C 1450 °C, relative density increases 55.0% 98.3%, 9.3 MPa 356.1 MPa. The body consists monoclinic (m-ZrO2) tetragonal (t-ZrO2) phases, m-ZrO2 completely transforming into t-ZrO2 1000 °C. Grain size also temperature. improvement zirconia’s is primarily attributed combination grain porosity. research provides guidance optimizing ceramics.
