Metal
vanadates
are
a
developing
group
of
semiconducting
metal
oxide
materials
that
gaining
increasing
attention
due
to
their
great
redox
potential,
effective
separation
photogenerated
electron–hole
pairs,
and
tunability
structural
physicochemical
properties.
Their
rational
design
as
photocatalysts
can
find
use
in
various
applications,
including
energy
conversion/storage
environmental
remediation.
In
particular,
one
the
viable
ways
address
energy-related
issues
be
through
sustainable
production
hydrogen
(H2),
clean
fuel
produced
by
photocatalysis
using
vanadates.
However,
rapid
recombination
pairs
limits
practical
photocatalysts,
thus,
many
efforts
have
been
devoted
optimizing

efficiency.

we

Abstract
Potential
applications

compounds

the

O‐Y
O
3
system,

e.
YVO
4

and
10

were
inspiration
to
undertake
research,

which

determine
whether
unknown
phases
solid
solution
type
are
formed
in
this
system.
Solid
solutions
still
sought‐after
because
their
properties
depend
on
chemical
composition.
In

it
experimentally
demonstrated
that
a
new
substitute
with
formula
2‐x
x
3+x
(0.00<×<0.60)
is
mixtures

as
result
mechanochemical
synthesis.
