Abstract The degradation of methylene blue dye via tribocatalysis using 0.5Ba(Zr 0.2 Ti 0.8 )O 3 ‒0.5(Ba 0.7 Sr 0.3 )TiO (BST‒BZT) ceramic powders was investigated under various conditions. tribocatalytic process initiated magnetic stirring with a polytetrafluoroethylene‐coated bar in glass beaker setup. efficiency evaluated at different speeds 300, 500, and 700 rpm. results showed significant variation rates, the highest ∼73% achieved within 12 h rotational speed Additionally, impact pH on examined by adjusting solution to levels 3, 6, 9. increased higher levels, maximum occurring basic medium (pH 9). Kinetic analysis revealed that adhered pseudo‐first‐order kinetics, rate constants 0.023, 0.035, 0.104 min⁻ 1 rpm, respectively. This study showcases potential BST‒BZT ceramics as efficient tribocatalysts for degrading organic pollutants wastewater, emphasizing efficiency.
