The present communication reports on the effect of sprayed solution volume variation (as a thickness element) detailed Raman spectroscopy for WO3 thin films with different thicknesses grown from precursor solutions two concentrations. Walls-like structured monoclinic were obtained by spray deposition method further integration in gas sensors. A analysis series samples shows that increase strongly affects films’ morphology, while their crystalline structure is only slightly affected. contributes to refining structural feature clarifications. It was observed that, 0.05 M concentration series, thinner (lower volume) show less intense peaks, indicating more defects and lower crystallinity, thicker (higher exhibit sharper suggesting improved crystallinity order. For higher 0.1 at concentrations overall peaks across all thicknesses, fewer defects. Differences peak intensity presence reflect variations film morphology properties due increased concentration. Further studies are ongoing.

The present work regards a unique yet study of 3D structured surface evolution nano-balls and walls-like features with thickness variation, for tungsten oxide (WO3) thin films made by spray deposition. Since in most optoelectronic applications the morphology structure play crucial role WO3 is one studied used metal semiconductors significant variety applications, detailed recently observed reported complex architecture coatings fabricated pyrolysis (starting from different precursors) great importance further development film devices. In this scope, two series 11 samples thicknesses each, starting peroxide precursor concentrations (0.05 M 0.1 M) were thoroughly characterized field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), X-ray diffraction Raman spectroscopy. Results suggest that, mentioned concentrations, main structural differences affect mostly slightly texturing. These observations prove reliability fabrication such method open new perspectives better sensors, electrochromic or photochromic devices, more.

Volatile aromatic hydrocarbons present a significant threat to both the environment and human health. However, due low reactivity of toxic gases containing benzene rings insufficient selectivity existing sensors, real-time monitoring series (BTEX) remains challenge. The development catalytically sensitive synergistic bilayer sensors offers promising strategy overcome this A Ru@CeO2 nanosheets with different Ru doping levels were synthesized by using simple solvothermal further calcination method. Interestingly, incorporation effectively modulates morphology Ce-BDC from nanorods porous nanosheets. WO3/Ru@CeO2 sensor is constructed WO3 nanofibers as lower layer upper catalytic layer. At operating temperature 160 °C, response value (Ra/Rg) 5 ppm xylene 37.04, which obviously better than that nanofiber sensor. In addition, also reacted significantly concentrations xylene, 1 ppb. Additionally, combination online mass spectrometry density functional theory was employed validate enhanced sensing performance arising mechanism between materials. Hence, work presents new material for detecting ppb level BTEX through an effective structure design selection.
