Abstract V 2 O 5 , an inorganic electrochromic (EC) material with rich color variation and natural abundance, has received extensive attention due to its polychromatic properties during the EC process. However, research on achieving multicolor tuning by combining structural generated from light-matter interactions of is rare. Here, based detailed investigation process parameters we propose a new optical design colorful electrode /W Fabry–Pérot cavity constructed magnetron sputtering glass substrate. By varying thickness top layer reflective electrodes exhibit seven different initial colors. Importantly, designed exhibits vivid wide gamut when applying voltage −0.6–1.6 V. After 200 cycles, device can still change, demonstrating potential glass/W/V in fields such as camouflage anti-counterfeiting.
